At first glance this robot looks like an amazing art piece, but there is much more to this little betty then meets the eye. Not only is this a great art piece, it also holds jewelry! It is made from recycled materials. I ljust love her fork hands. :)
2)Robot Vinyl Wall Decal by circlelinestudio.I have always wanted some type of wall vinyl on my walls when I was younger but never got it. I think I may get my wish now! Maybe in pink?
3)Futuristic Robot American Lavender Purple T-Shirt by happyfamily.I love t-shirts with simple images on them. Especailly if they are 100% sweatshop free...um I mean 100% cotton. :p
4)Sleepy Robot by sleepyrobot13. This little robot melted my heart the first time I saw it. His name is Robby Roboto. He is made from polymer clay and measures about 1 1/3" of adorable goodness. :)
5)Silver Robot Pouch by anatomyofaskirtThis robot will eat just about anything! I have been a fan of this shop for quite some time now and I love to see each new robot they come up with. Super cute and handy!
6)Mr. Roboto Necklace by DeliciousHobo.This necklace is so unique, stylish, and just the right size. I wonder what's inside it's chest? :p

Exciting News!
I am so excited!!
I FINALLY finished both PDF patterns for both of my wallets! Took me long enough I would say! :p
I must admit I was a bit apprehensive throughout the whole process on whether or not I wanted to actually start selling them yet. But, I just bit the bullet and dove in as I always do and I am just excited and I feel accomplished.
It took me a few weeks but I figured everything out and pushed myself. It was pretty tough but I think it was well worth it.

Weekly Favorites
I LOVE Halloween! Especially candy corns, cookies, chocolate, anything sweet! Gosh, I just feel my mouth water.
Not sure what my plans are to celebrate this awesome holiday but I am sure I'll end up doing something simple, like watch scary movies all night and eat candy til my teeth hurt. :p
So here are some goodies to share with you guys to get you in the Halloween spirit!

1)One Cuddlesome Candy Corn by scrumptiousdelight. He's low-cal and sugar free but ever so sweet, says the creator of these adorable candies. I am a sucker for cute things. I would leave these on display all year round!
2)Oh The Horror...Brain Bowl by foldedpigs. This is a must have for zombie fans indeed! The detail on this is great and perfect for the holiday.
3)Larger than Life Candy Corn - One Dozen Decorated Sugar Cookie by Favorscakeboxcookies When I first saw these my mouth started watering. I can just imagine how amazing these must taste, and the size is just a bonus!
4)Trick or treat - candy corn soapsicle by servasgschaeft If I left these lying around somebody might confuse them for candy. That's how good they look. It would be hard to take a shower and resist taking a bite out of this soap.
5)Dollhouse Scale Tiny Candy Apples by dollhousedelights I am seriously becoming a fan of miniatures. I have to restrain myself from buying any because I have no where to put them. This piece is amazing to decorate your doll house with a punch of color for the holiday season.
6)Pumpkin Jar by baumanstoneware The amount of detail in this is amazing or "Gourd-juss!" as the seller puts it. It not only acts as a candy bowl but you can also cook in it! Imagine serving this to your Halloween guests at the dinner table. SO unique!

So I am a little late doing my weekly favorites this week but I had no trouble choosing. I have had my eye on these items for the last week and I am drooling over them all! So I thought I would share with you all what is new this week!

1)Outstanding Wide Leg Pants in Black by thaimodish.Now you can't sit there and tell me that these don't look like the most comfortable pants on this planet! Surely you can find your size and if not you can have it custom made. Such an amazing seller!
2)Owl Case by EvelynX.This is the most adorable little electronics pouch evar! Now whether or not I have an iPhone or an iPod touch is irrelevant, I would just admire it all the same lol.
3)Pink Poppy Tote by myTida. This is one of the most gorgeous totes I have ever seen. It is a walking piece of art, literally! It is hand painted, eco friendly, and made with quality materials.
4)Lady Amherst Feather Headband by LovMely. I have had my eye on many of their headbands but the color and size of this one just makes it perfect. It would look great with any hair color or skin type. It even has a sequel jewel to accent.
5)Sparklers ThreeFiveEightyFiveThese earrings are amazing! I truly don't know how else to describe them. They go with any outfit and they are sure to catch everyone's eye.
6)The Rounded Bottom Wristlet in Dirty Martini by MadameCupcakeI love this the fabric combo she selected here! The rounded corners give this wristlet an adorable style and makes it great for everyday use.

Weekly Favorites
So since I have been neglecting my blog lately I thought it was a great idea to start doing weekly favorites. I really enjoy ready these kinds of posts from others, so I thought I would pitch in and start sharing with you guys what I am loving right now.
So here goes...

1)The Rogue in Organic Plum by infusion. I absolutely love the color of this bag! The shape, pleats, and organic factor of this hand made creation is absolutely stunning!

2)The Cranberry Cozy by Yokoo. Every since Yokoo replied to a forum post I made once upon a time, I fell in love with her shop right then and there. Her photography is so entertaining and artistic. It goes hand in hand with her hand made goodies! The color and style of this cozy irresistible!

3)A Witch's Break Miniature by PetitPlat. Ever since she became a customer with Krazy Fashion, I took a look at her AMAZINGLY DETAILED work and it was love at first sight. Her work is so realistic it's mind boggling! This cute Miniature is great for the upcoming Halloween holiday! This makes me wish I still had a doll house to play with.

4)Smoke and Mirrors Necklace by Faeriedtreasures. After meeting FT in the Etsy Chat rooms I have been a fan of her delicate dainty jewelry. This necklace adds a little mystery and a lot of elegance to your little black dress.

5)Petals an Organic Cotton T-Shirt by alisontauber. After discovering her luxurious jersey cotton scarves I instantly loved their organic shirts. Purple is one of my favorite colors. Add a touch a floral, and we're in business!

6)Kitchen Sink II Resin Ring by BuyMyCrap. I think most of us met BMC in the Etsy forums always crackin' jokes even during "serious" discussions. :p This ring is a mix of all the colors of fall I enjoy wearing. Meaning, it is a perfect match with any outfit this season.

My Very First Birdie Sling!

So as usual I have another story to tell about a custom order. :)
This order just started out as any other custom order did. Some how it turned into something more. More as in a purse, wallet, zipper pouch, and hopefully future projects.
So it all started out as a regular custom order where we decide on fabric talk about all the details and options, then some how a purse got thrown into the mix. Now, mind you I haven't made a purse in ages! I showed some previous work, when the buyer started talking Amy Butler (my second language lol) We got to talking about pretty much all of the bag patterns she offered then decided on the Birdie Sling.
I always found Amy Butler's bags to be a bit intimidating and I still bought the patterns anyways lol. Right now my collection consists of The Kimberly Bag, The Weekender, The Birdie Sling, and the Madison/Uptown Bags. I plan on buying more but that's when I start making more money (like we all haven't heard that one before :p)
So I took a deep breathe, grabbed some iced tea, cracked my knuckles, and went to work.
To my surprise the birdie sling wasn't hard at all! Of course you have to sit there and read some things over and over again but I think that's just me sometimes. :p
This was my first attempt at creating the birdie sling and I am impressed at how amazing it turned out! The fabrics look so well together and I got all the seams matched up perfectly.
The fabrics I used are all from Amy Butler. They are called Modern Love and Bright Buds in Grey. The inside also features the bright buds and has a big slip pocket and a nice zipper pocket.
